AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOR ADDITIONAL EMPLOYEES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. One hundred twenty-nine thousand one hundred dollars ($129,100) is appropriated from the general fund to the seventh judicial district attorney for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 in the following amounts for the following purposes:

                (1) forty-eight thousand five hundred dollars ($48,500) for salary and benefits for a victim advocate in the Socorro office;

                (2) forty thousand three hundred dollars ($40,300) for salary and benefits for an administrative secretary in the Socorro office; and

                (3) forty thousand three hundred dollars ($40,300) for salary and benefits for an administrative secretary in the Estancia office.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
