AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR HOME VISITATION PROGRAMS IN MORA, SAN MIGUEL AND GUADALUPE COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for a home visitation program teaching parenting skills in Mora, San Miguel and Guadalupe counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
