AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PLANNING AND PROMOTION OF A CELEBRATION RECOGNIZING THE FOUR-HUNDRED-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF SANTA FE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for the city of Santa Fe for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to plan and promote a celebration recognizing the four-hundred-year anniversary of the founding of Santa Fe, La Villa Real de Santa Fe de San Francisco de Asis, 1607-1610. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
