AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR LICENSED ALCOHOL AND DRUG COUNSELORS INTERNSHIP INITIATIVES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-four thousand nine hundred seventy-five dollars ($54,975) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for licensed alcohol and drug counselors internship initiatives. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
