Madam President:

    Your CONSERVATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 968

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

         1. On page 7, line 14, after the period, strike the remainder of the line, strike all of lines 15 and 16, strike line 17 through the period and insert in lieu thereof:

"The offer shall remain open for thirty days from the date of the last publication date of the offer. If two or more state agencies timely accept the offer, the offering state agency shall sell, trade or lease the real property to the agency that conducts state business on property located nearest to the real property being disposed of. If the primary office location of all agencies that timely accept the offer are equidistant to the property, the property shall be sold to the state agency as determined by lot, subject to ratification and approval by the legislature.". ,

and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
