AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH AN ASSOCIATE OF ARTS DEGREE IN FINE ARTS AT THE NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY GRANTS CAMPUS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ninety-one thousand five hundred dollars ($191,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to establish, equip and administer a program leading to an associate of arts degree in fine arts, including concentrations in studio art, theater, creative media, creative writing and music, at the Grants campus. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
