AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AFTER-SCHOOL LEARNING CENTERS IN MOUNTAINAIR.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for after-school learning centers in the Mountainair public schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
