AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EXPANDED CHILD CARE AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to expand its child care operation that serves students and employees of the university and the community. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
