AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR A DOCUMENTARY ON NEW MEXICO CHILE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to contract for the preparation of a documentary film on New Mexico chile. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
