    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 798

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, lines 15 through 17, strike "local government division of the department of finance and administration" and insert in lieu thereof "department of public safety for expenditure in fiscal year 2008".

     2. On page 1, line 17, after "for" insert "statewide".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
