    Your HEALTH AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 784

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 5, line 11, strike "sixteen" and insert in lieu thereof "eighteen".

     2. On page 6, line 24, strike "and".

     3. On page 7, line 1, strike the period and insert "; and (6) two members who are Native American and do not live in tribal or reservation communities.".

     4. On page 9, line 23, after the comma strike the remainder of the line and strike line 24 through the first comma.

     5. On page 10, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following new subsection:

          "H. provide input to the interagency behavioral health collaborative established in Section 9-7-4.1 NMSA 1978 and the behavioral health planning council established in Section 24-1-28 NMSA 1978 regarding the parts of the comprehensive behavioral health plan developed by the behavioral health collaborative and the behavioral health planning council to address the mental health and substance abuse needs of Native Americans in New Mexico;".

     6. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

     7. On page 19, line 9, strike "exempt" and insert in lieu thereof "classified".

     8. On page 21, line 1, strike "exempt" and insert in lieu thereof "classified".

     9. On page 22, line 16, strike "exempt" and insert in lieu thereof "classified".

     10. On page 24, line 7, strike "exempt" and insert in lieu thereof "classified".

     11. On page 26, line 20, before "to" insert "for distribution to the interagency behavioral health purchasing collaborative".

     12. On page 26, line 23, after "facilities" insert "and programs, in consultation with the behavioral health planning council".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
