AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR THE EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thirty thousand dollars ($130,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal years 2008 and 2009 to fund early childhood program needs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
