AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A FARMER-TO-FARMER EDUCATION PILOT PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for the New Mexico department of agriculture for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for a farmer-to-farmer education pilot program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
