AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR STAFF EXPANSION IN THE FOURTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-six thousand one hundred dollars ($176,100) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the fourth judicial district attorney for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to expand staffing, including a financial specialist at thirty-nine thousand nine hundred dollars ($39,900), a victim advocate at forty-six thousand three hundred dollars ($46,300), a program specialist at fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) and an administrative secretary at thirty-nine thousand nine hundred dollars ($39,900). Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
