AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE BUREAU OF GEOLOGY AND MINERAL RESOURCES PUBLICATIONS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to pay for the bureau of geology and mineral resources publication expenses. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
