    Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 664

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 28, line 13, strike "a", strike lines 14 and 15 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof "at least seventeen days per year of pari-mutuel wagering on live horse races run on the premises of the racetrack licensee.".

     2. On page 29, line 3, strike "on days when live horse racing occurs", insert in lieu thereof "during the licensee's race meet" and on line 4, strike "on days".

     3. On page 38, line 10, after "association" insert "for medical benefits for the members of the New Mexico horsemen's association".

     4. On page 38, line 13, after the period strike the remainder of the line and strike lines 14 through 23 in their entirety.

     5. On page 40, line 3, after the period, strike the remainder of the line and strike lines 4 through 6 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof: "Of the net retainage from all wagers, after deductions:".

     6. On page 45, line 15, after "of", strike the remainder of the line, strike line 16 through "tax" and insert in lieu thereof "all legal claims for refunds".

     7. On page 45, line 22, after "refunds", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 23 through "taxes".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
