AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SUPPORT 4-H PROGRAMS IN LEA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to support 4-H programs in Lea county through the cooperative extension program at New Mexico state university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
