AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR BERNALILLO COUNTY'S FAMILY PASS PROGRAM AT THE NATIONAL HISPANIC CULTURAL CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for Bernalillo county's family pass program that invites children and their families to experience vibrant arts and culture at the national Hispanic cultural center for free. The family passes will allow for free admission to the art museum or a designated family concert. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
