AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR PROSTATE CANCER, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, GLAUCOMA AND DIABETES TESTING OF HISPANIC MALES AT A PUBLIC HEALTH CLINIC IN THE SOUTH VALLEY OF BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for prostate cancer, high blood pressure, glaucoma and diabetes testing of Hispanic men eighteen years of age or older who do not have health coverage for these services, at a public health clinic in the south valley of Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
