AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR OUTREACH TO VETERANS IN NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the veterans' services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for outreach to educate veterans in New Mexico about available benefits. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
