    Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 496

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 5, line 25, strike "and which shall have the highest funding priority".

     2. On page 10, line 22, after "road" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 23 through "348" and insert in lieu thereof "3".

     3. On page 12, line 5, after "for" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 6 through "road" and insert in lieu thereof "acquisition of rights of way, planning, design and construction of roadway drainage and paving improvements to San Jose boulevard in the city of Carlsbad".

     4. On page 25, line 6, strike "northern".

     5. On page 25, line 7, after "county" insert a comma and "of which one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is for county roads in northern Santa Fe county".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
