AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT PROGRAM AT NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Nine hundred ten thousand dollars ($910,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to fund the practice makes perfect program to prepare secondary students for the next grade level and for college. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
