    Your HEALTH AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 313

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, strike lines 22 to 25.

     2. On page 3, strike line 1 and on line 2, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(1)".

     3. On page 3, line 5, after "subdivision" insert "and the employment is for a term of two years; provided, however, that the governing body may renew the employment by passing a resolution declaring continuing need".

     4. On page 3, line 7, after "employee" insert "or retained as an independent contractor".

     5. On page 4, line 8, after "association" insert ". No employee contributions shall be required pursuant to this paragraph".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
