AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH AN INTEGRATED SYSTEM FOR COMMUNICATING ELECTROCARDIOGRAM INFORMATION TO EMERGENCY SERVICES PERSONNEL IN NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the St. Vincent regional medical center to establish an integrated system for communicating electrocardiogram information to emergency services personnel, including those in emergency departments and physician offices in north central New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
