AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONDUCT A STUDY OF THE FEASIBILITY OF INCORPORATING THE SOUTH VALLEY OF BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the north central economic development district for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to conduct a study of the feasibility of incorporating the south valley of Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
