FOR THE COURTS, CORRECTIONS AND JUSTICE COMMITTEE
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 338 appropriates $190,000 from the general fund to the Commission on the Status of
Women for programs for clients at the Camino Nuevo facility, including:
1)
$100,000 for the Teamworks Program for job training and work release; and
2)
$90,000 for reentry, resource and referral services.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $190,000 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund.
Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert
to the general fund.
