committees of the NM Legislature. The LFC does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of these reports
if they are used for other purposes.

Adobe PDF versions include all attachments, whereas HTML versions may not. Previously issued FIRs and

The Senate Public Affairs Committee amendment to SB124 as follows:
1. On page 1, line 18, strike "a".
2. On page 1, line 19, strike "coalition" and insert in lieu thereof "service providers".
3. On page 1, line 19, strike "improvements to" and insert in lieu thereof "services".
4. On page 1, line 20, strike "shelters and services" and after "for" insert "women and",
The amendment does not affect the appropriation, but replaces the language which limited the
appropriation to statewide coalitions (there are only two) and allows the department to contract
directly with service providers statewide, rather than limiting to a coalition.
