SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 589 appropriates $249.4 from the general fund to the DCA for the operation and
staffing of the Camino Real International Heritage Center.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
House Bill 589 appropriates $249.4 from the general fund and is recurring. Any unexpended or
unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
If House Bill 589 is enacted the appropriation would be in addition to what is included in the FY
2007 recommended budget of the museums and monument programs and special appropriations.
