SUMMARY
Synopsis of HLC Amendment
The House Labor & Human Resources Committee amendment increases the amount of the ap-
propriation from $50 thousand to $150 thousand and changes the purpose to providing a work-
force economic development program for young adults in Bernalillo County.
Synopsis of Original Bill
House Bill 505 appropriates $50 thousand from the general fund to the Local Government Divi-
sion of the Department of Finance and Administration in FY07 to provide a workforce develop-
ment program for young adults in Bernalillo County.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $150 thousand contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general
fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY07 would revert to
the general fund.
