Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 415 appropriates general fund to the Cultural Affairs department to fund operational
expenses for the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
House Bill 415 appropriates $210.0 from the general fund and is recurring. Any unexpended or
unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
The legislation would provide operational expenses for the Santa Fe international folk art market.
The department did not indicate if funds were requested in department’s FY07 operating budget.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
The department will continue to fund the operating expenses for the Santa Fe international folk
art market out of the museum and monument operating budget.
