SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Education Committee substitutes House Bill 25 appropriates $100,000 from the general
fund to the Public Education Department for the purpose of funding educational programs
through a children’s museum in Santa Fe.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The Public Education Department reports the process of developing an RFP, reviewing proposals
and providing financial oversight would require approximately $7,700 in department resources.
The appropriation of $100,000 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund.
Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert
to the general fund.
