I request that the following be funded:

STATE BUILDINGS COST OVERRUNS

ten million dollars ($10,000,000) for expenditure in fiscal years 2006 through 2009 to pay for

cost overruns, due to unforeseen increased prices of cement, steel or other materials, in

ongoing capital outlay projects on state buildings. The state board of finance shall develop

procedures to ensure that, upon a showing of need, distributions of the appropriation are

made as expeditiously as practicable. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining

at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
