AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STATEWIDE INTERACTIVE FINE ARTS OUTREACH PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($425,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to develop and implement a statewide interactive fine arts outreach program through the museum of fine arts to bring the museum of fine arts collection to students and others. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
