AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF FACULTY MEMBERS AND SOCIAL WORKERS AT THE HIGHLAND AND MANZANO HIGH SCHOOL CLUSTERS IN ALBUQUERQUE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to increase the number of faculty members at the Highland and Manzano high school clusters in Albuquerque and to add at least one additional social worker at each cluster. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
