AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A MEDICALLY MONITORED DETOXIFICATION PROGRAM IN GRANT COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to contract for a medically monitored detoxification program for Grant county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
