AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR COMMUNITY-BASED PLANNING IN ALBUQUERQUE.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support community-based planning initiatives in Albuquerque's north valley and downtown neighborhoods for the study and design of traffic calming and neighborhood improvement projects, to be organized and conducted by the design and planning assistance center at the university of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
