AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO DETERMINE THE FEASIBILITY OF OPENING A DENTAL SCHOOL IN NEW MEXICO.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico health policy commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to conduct a study of the feasibility and effectiveness of opening a school to educate and prepare dentists for practice in New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
