AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND THE MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM AT LUNA COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN LAS VEGAS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of Luna community college for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to expand the mathematics, science and technology program to improve alignment and articulation activities between and among local school districts in northeastern New Mexico and institutions of higher education. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
