AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR A SCIENCE EDUCATION PROGRAM TARGETED FOR CHILDREN IN ALBUQUERQUE.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund a science education program through a science center and children's museum in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
