AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO DEVELOP A COMPREHENSIVE STRATEGIC PROFILE AND INITIATIVE RELATED TO HEALTH CARE GAPS AND NEEDS IN DONA ANA COUNTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to develop a comprehensive strategic profile and initiative in Dona Ana county that focuses on gaps in health care services, health care needs and the use of health care resources, including an assessment of the economic and health impact of those resources in the county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
