AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DISTANCE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES AT LOVING MUNICIPAL, LAKE ARTHUR MUNICIPAL, HAGERMAN MUNICIPAL AND DEXTER CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICTS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for the Roswell branch for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to pay the start-up costs incurred by the Loving municipal, Lake Arthur municipal, Hagerman municipal and Dexter consolidated school districts in implementing distance learning technologies that enrich the curriculum offerings among the four school districts. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
