AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND THE SOUTHWEST INDIAN LAW CLINIC AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-nine thousand dollars ($129,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to expand the southwest Indian law clinic at the university of New Mexico school of law. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
