AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PLANNING AND DEDICATION OF THE TAYLOR REYNOLDS BARELA MESILLA STATE MONUMENT.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund the development of a management and interpretive plan for the Taylor Reynolds Barela Mesilla state monument in preparation for its operation and to fund the dedication of the monument in the fall of 2006. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
