AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR BORDER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BASED ON VALUE-ADDED AGRICULTURE ENTERPRISES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support the New Mexico department of agriculture's international border economic development program of value-added agriculture enterprises in rural communities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
