AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT FOR THE SANTA FE WORLD PEACE CONFERENCE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support the Santa Fe world peace conference. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
