AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR GRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM START-UP AT NORTHERN NEW MEXICO STATE SCHOOL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of northern New Mexico state school for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund graduate and postgraduate program start-up, including planning, hiring faculty and staff, identifying curricula, obtaining a student learning outcomes assessment and improving the library. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
