AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE INDEPENDENT LIVING SERVICES IN UNDERSERVED COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the vocational rehabilitation division of the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide independent living services in underserved counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
