AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR FORESTRY BIOMASS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to assist the Pueblo of Picuris in establishing an economic development program based on value-added products derived from forestry biomass. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
