AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE OFFICE OF WORKFORCE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT TO FUND A SOCIAL WORKER WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of workforce training and development for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund a social worker work experience program administered by New Mexico highlands university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
