AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR FAITH-BASED HEALTH CARE, DRUG EDUCATION AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DEVELOPMENT IN CHIMAYO AND ESPANOLA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public health division of the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to work with public and private agencies to provide faith-based health care, drug education and prevention programs and community development services in Chimayo and Espanola. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
